FAQ

What is Méli?

Méli is Greek(ish) Wine & Mezze restaurant. We’re a place to enjoy delicious delicacies from Greece while supporting community and connection. Méli means two things in Greek - honey and members.

To serve you delicious food & drink, Méli creatively navigates zoning constraints by creating a donation-based dining experience that gives back to our neighborhood. By joining, you're supporting 10 community partners doing impactful work in our neighborhood.

Why is Méli a Club?

Because of our location inside a residence, we could not be a public restaurant, so we created a private one instead, where for a small membership fee, you can dine with us. Simply buy a bottle of house wine, or n/a bev, and voilà—you’re a member. Instead of taking the bottle purchase as profit, we donate it directly back to the community.

How do I join?

Joining Méli is as simple as buying a bottle of our house red, white, or sparkling wine. You and 1 special person in your life are then members of Méli! All we need are your names and email addresses.

What does the membership cost?

Joining Méli is $25 (2 people on your account), or $50 for families (3-5 on your account). Memberships are not required for guests 12 and under. Residents of the Silva Apartments are automatically family members of Méli, an amenity of living in the shared building.

May I try Méli before I commit to a membership?

Yes! We welcome potential members to enjoy Méli as a guest for one experience. All they need to do is provide us with their email address. Guests can also enjoy Méli takeout and catering without joining.

May I bring a guest?

Members can! Members are allowed to bring guests for one introductory visit to get to know Meli before they join. Guests will be asked for their email and to join at the end of their visit so they can return and be a part of all the things.

Where do you donate the membership fee?
